I enjoy making soap too. I do feel it’s very important to point out a couple things though. In case of a lye burn, do not use vinegar, flush with water for 15 minutes and get medical attention. The vinegar is used for spilled lye like on the counter not for treating the skin. Also, not all Essential Oils are created equal. A fragrance calculator should be used just like a lye calculator is used. European safety standards for essential oils are two percent of total oil weight that’s 0.9 ounces for your recipe. Happy creating and thanks for sharing.

You could use almond oil.

I was told it contains a type of acid and my face and neck got so bad my doctor sent me to a burn specialist. The rash has never completely gone away and now I have hypersensitive skin and it keeps reacting to everything
