In Missouri they sell native seedlings, a lot of which are listed in this article.

We have few trees alive. Many that are dead. Will bees just travel to where there are trees to get what they need?

She said all four trees around her pool is infested with honey bees. What can she do? She doesn’t want the bees.

Hi Sandy, the standard list for most of the country is: Maples, Alders, Redbud, Hazels, Tulip poplar,Tupelo, Black locust, Willows, Basswood/linden. Some native trees to Kentucky include Sourwood, Tulip Poplar, and Red Maple! Happy planting!
