I’m lucky to have a lot of honey bees in my yard this year. I’d like to know where their hive is. I don’t want to disturb them. Is there a certain place in my yard where I should look? Thank you.

I was under the impression drones had one more antenna segment that workers do. Though the purpose isn’t clear, the most commonly held belief is that, like drone eyes, they are designed to aid in their main purpose – identifying virgin queens in order to mate.
