I’ve had great results setting the box into the hive with frames and let the bees at their own pace migrate into the box. Everyone’s peaceful, happy and at home!

Yes this will work with a swarm. We use this method all the time for swarms. Usually we use a nuc. When 4 frames are full we put a second nuc on top. We call it a condo nuc. When top is 4 frames are full. Then we put it in 9 frame deep. Then put another deep on top.we have the best results with this system.
